"Saif Al Arab" joint drill kicks off at Mohamed Naguib military base

A joint military drill dubbed, "Saif Al Arab," - "Sword of Arabs" - kicked off on Sunday in the Northern Military Zone, with the participation of five Arab countries, plus Egypt.

The participating countries include Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Bahrain and Sudan.
The joint drill, which will last until November 26, is being conducted at Mohamed Naguib Military Base, located in Marsa Matrouh governorate.
The training includes theoretical and practical lectures aimed at unifying operational concepts, raising the level of military competence and joint work and exchanging training expertise.
Over the past few days, units and equipment have arrived at the drill location via air bases and sea ports, adhering to all health precautions.
The drill seeks to develop and reinforce military ties between Egypt and other Arab countries.
