Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala El Saeed has won the Arab Government Excellence Award as the best Arab minister.

 

A statement released by the Planning Ministry on Wednesday 25/11/2020 said the winners of the competition, which is organized by UAE, were announced by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, earlier on Wednesday.

 

It aims to recognize leading Arab ministers and ministries for their outstanding work in advancing governance and administrative practice in the region.

 

As many as 5,000 government participants took part in the competition.

 

Hala Al Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Egypt, was selected as the best minister in the Arab world.

 

Meanwhile, the Saudi Ministry of Trade was selected as the best ministry in the Arab world.
