The Foreign Ministry on Wednesday 25/11/2020 voiced its condemnation over the building of new settlement units in the occupied Palestinian lands.

The measure is a big violation of the international law and legitimacy resolutions, the ministry said.

In a press release, Spokesperson  for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Hafez said the continuation of Israel's settlement policies in the occupied Palestinian lands would undermine the two-state solution and hinder efforts aimed at reviving negotiations to reach a comprehensive and just settlement to the Palestinian cause.

Such Israeli policies would also pose threats to regional security and stability, added Hafez.

The Israeli authorities endorsed the establishment of new settlement units at Jabal Abu Ghanem in occupied al Quds.
