Sisi, South Sudan’s VP probe peace efforts

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi conferred on Saturday 28/11/2020 with First Vice President of South Sudan Riek Machar to discuss Cairo’s efforts to enforce the South Sudan peace agreement.
The meeting was attended by Director of the Egyptian General Intelligence Service (GIS) Abbas Kamel.
Sisi and Machar probed means to cement bilateral ties between the two countries, Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Radi said in a statement.
They also shed light on Egypt’s great efforts to put the South Sudan peace agreement into effect to bring about peace, stability, development and prosperity in South Sudan, Radi added.
