Emigration minister, UNESCO discuss Speak Egyptian Arabic initiative

Ministry of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Nabila Makram has discussed with Director of UNESCO Regional Bureau for Sciences in the Arab States Ghaith H. Fariz means to cement cooperation between the ministry and the international organization as part of Etkallem Araby (Speak Egyptian Arabic) presidential initiative being implemented by the ministry under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to strengthen Arab-Egyptian identity among Egyptians abroad.
The minister reviewed her efforts in communicating with Egyptian expatriates to brief them on the importance of Egypt’s national security and answer their queries, said a statement issued by the Ministry on Wednesday 2/12/2020.
The minister accepted an invitation proposed Fariz, who is the director of UNESCO office in Cairo, to attend a ceremony organized UNESCO office in Cairo in cooperation with the ministries of education and culture on Arabic Day that falls in December.
He expressed his organization’s readiness to render the presidential initiative a success as it focuses the issues of openness, acceptance of others and the fight against extremism.
