Meetings of the President of the Republic with government officials
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with the Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and a number of ministers and senior officials on 1/11/2020. The meeting dealt with following up the developments of Damietta Furniture City and developing the furniture industry in Egypt. The President directed to continue providing all production requirements from raw materials, wood, modern machinery and equipment for Damietta Furniture City to become an integrated and specialized center in the furniture industry within an institutional framework organized according to the most sophisticated international designs.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met on 2/11/2020 with the Prime Minister, and a number of ministers and senior officials, and the meeting dealt with a review of the urban development plan for governorate capitals and major cities and an inventory of unused lands. The President has directed the establishment of 500 thousand housing units in major cities and capitals of the governorates at the level of the Republic, by exploiting vacant lands after being defined. The meeting also witnessed a presentation of the developments of the construction and implementation situation of Al-Jalalah city with its various components.
President El-Sisi met on 3/11/2020 with the Prime Minister and Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Engineer Tariq Al-Mulla. During the meeting, the President was briefed on the axes of the national project for the use of vehicles of natural gas, and the President directed to intensify incentive measures to convert cars to work with natural gas capacity. The President also directed the study of implementing programs to replace old cars with new ones powered by gas, with the aim of expanding the process of converting to gas energy, achieving tangible economic savings for citizens, and also providing them with the opportunity to own modern cars.
President El-Sisi met on 5/11/2020 with the Prime Minister, the Ministers of Supply and Agriculture, and a number of senior officials, and the meeting dealt with following up the developments of a number of development projects in the field of agriculture in the New Valley Governorate. The President directed the expansion of agricultural projects in the New Valley and related food industries and the establishment of logistical areas, as part of the advanced priority accorded to the agricultural sector in the state's development strategy. The President also directed to strive through these projects towards achieving self-sufficiency of the local market.
President El-Sisi met on 7/11/2020 with the Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Assistant of President of the Republic for National and Strategic Projects Eng. Sherif Ismail, Minister of International Cooperation Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, and a number of senior officials, and the meeting dealt with following up the executive position of the national project to establish Bedouin settlements in Sinai.
The President directed that the Bedouin communities in Sinai Peninsula aim to support the Sinai community in terms of development from all perspectives within the framework of the state's comprehensive development strategy for Sinai.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met on 8/11/2020 with the advisor to the President of the Republic for Financial Affairs and secretary of Long Live Egypt Fund, Major General Mohamed Amin. During the meeting, the activities of the Long Live Egypt Fund in the field of social protection and support for the neediest families at the level of the Republic were followed.
The President directed to continue regularly developing the activities and initiatives of the Long Live Egypt Fund as a social and economic arm that supports the efforts of state agencies towards citizens.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met on 9/11/20 with the Prime Minister and the Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, and the meeting dealt with following up the national projects of the Ministry of Electricity at the republic level. The president directed reinforcing efforts of implementing projects of electrical linkage with neighbour countries for achieving common interest in promoting development efforts and good management of electric energy to maximize benefit from it throughout the year. The President also directed to adhere to timetables for the completion of electricity projects in Sinai and the South Valley.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met on 10/11/2020 with the Prime Minister, the Ministers of Petroleum and Agriculture, and Commander of the Navy Lieutenant General Ahmed Khaled, along with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Belgian Demi Dredging Company, and a number of senior officials. The meeting dealt with following up current and future projects for "Demi" company in Egypt, as well as the general plan for the development of Lake Bardawil in North Sinai.
The President directed the integration of the Bardawil Lake Development Project within the general strategic framework of Sinai development.
President El-Sisi met on 15/11/2020 with the Prime Minister, the Ministers of Water Resources and Irrigation, and Agriculture and a number of senior officials. During the meeting, the President was briefed on the national projects of the New Egyptian Countryside Development Company in the field of land development and reclamation. The president directed finishing up the Infrastructure works in coordination with all concerned agencies, especially those related to paving roads, electrical feeding works, developing wells, and completing studies on water quality.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met on 11/22/2020 with the Prime Minister, and a number of ministers and senior officials, and the meeting dealt with reviewing the axes of the "national strategy for the vehicle industry that uses clean, unconventional energy sources." The President directed to speed up the executive steps of the state’s plans to settle the new energy-powered car industry in Egypt.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met on 11/22/2020 with the Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Finance Dr. Mohamed Maait,, and , Deputy Minister of Finance for Financial Policies Mr. Ahmed Kajok. The meeting dealt with reviewing the agreement with the International Monetary Fund to review the Fund's program with Egypt.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met on 11/23/2020 with the Adviser to the President of the Republic for Urban Planning Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, and a number of senior officials, and the meeting dealt with following up the executive position of a number of national projects that the Engineering Authority carries out at the level of the Republic, especially with regard to the national road network and the new axes in their various stages, in addition to the ongoing construction works in the new administrative capital and the city of Galala, as well as the development plan for the Ramses Square area.
President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi met on 24/11/2020 with the Chairmen of the Board of Directors of the Spanish company "Griffols"Raymond Griffols and Victor Griffols, to collect and manufacture plasma derivatives, in the presence of the Prime Minister and a number of ministers and senior officials. The meeting dealt with reviewing the executive general plan of the national project for the manufacture and assembly of plasma derivatives in Egypt, which will be carried out in partnership with the Spanish company, "Grifolls", which has long experience in this field at the global level. During the meeting, the President directed to press the executive schedule for the project, which represents a huge addition to a series of national projects that are concerned with the health of citizens.The president was briefed on the details of the current situation of the spread of the new Corona virus at the level of the Republic.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met on 24/11/2020 with the Prime Minister, the ministers of higher education and health, and a number of senior officials, and during the meeting the President was briefed on the current situation of the spread of the new Corona virus since the beginning of the crisis at the beginning of this year until now, and the start of the second wave of the pandemic and infection rates at the level of the governorates of the Republic, and the latest developments at the global level regarding vaccine research were reviewed, as well as Egypt's efforts in this regard, as the President directed to support the work of the Scientific National Committee for Corona Vaccine Research with additional cadres from all competent authorities to be in a permanent session to study the contract on importing the best vaccinations.
Field Tours of the President of the Republic
President El-Sisi on 1/11/2020, made an inspection tour in a number of construction projects and sites in the New Administrative Capital, where he was briefed on the executive position of the projects, the progress of work and the completion rates. The President stressed the necessity of observing adherence to preventive measures of Coronavirus, in order to preserve the safety of all workers.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inspected on 13/11/2020 projects to develop axes and bridges in the governorates of Cairo and Giza, and the President spoke with officials and workers at those sites to follow up the executive position of the progress of construction work, stressing the accuracy of adherence to the timetables for the completion of those projects aimed at developing traffic axes to serve as new arteries to facilitate movement between Cairo and other governorates and inside Cairo itself.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on 14/11/2020 made an inspection tour of a number of construction projects and sites in the New Administrative Capital, including the "Egypt International Olympic Games City", which is the largest integrated Olympic sports city in the Middle East, and the President directed the need to continue observing adherence to the schedule specified to complete the implementation of projects in the New Administrative Capital according to the highest specifications and standards.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on 15/11/2020 paid an inspection visit to the headquarters of the Strategic State's Command Center in the New Administrative Capital, which was newly established with the latest international specifications in line with Egypt's future vision, and the President listened to a detailed explanation of the components of the new leadership strategic center and the latest developments in the engineering construction work and the infrastructure work that was carried out.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on 16/11/2020 made an inspection tour of a number of construction sites in the New Administrative Capital, which included the City of Arts and Culture, and the new Opera House in the city, which is the largest artistic and cultural city in the Middle East. The president was briefed on the executive position of those projects and listened to an explanation of the work developments, as the city of arts and culture is being established according to the highest international specifications and the finest architectural designs.
President El-Sisi visited the headquarters of the Military Academy on 17/11/2020, and attended the exams of the Authority for new students applying to join military colleges and institutes, and the President praised the level of students and their keenness to join the armed forces to gain the honor of defending Egypt's security and stability.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inaugurated the third session of the Intelligent Transport for the Middle East and Africa Exhibition and Conference on 22/11/2020.
President of the Republic receives foreign officials
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on 4/11/2020 received a high-level Congolese delegation headed by Special Adviser to the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Fortna Beasley, who conveyed a message to the President from the Congolese President "Tshisekedi", which included expressing deep appreciation for the unlimited Egyptian support to maintain peace and stability In the Democratic Republic of the Congo. For his part, the President affirmed Egypt's continued support for the Democratic Republic of the Congo at all levels in order to achieve stability, development and progress for its brotherly people.
The meeting also discussed the developments of a number of issues of common concern on the African arena.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received on 5/11/2020, President of the European Council, Charles Michel and the President emphasized the importance that Egypt attaches to its relations with the European Union and means to boost them at all levels in addition to discussing a number of Regional and international issues related to regional security, in light of the pivotal role of Egypt and the European Union in preserving the stability and security of the Eastern Mediterranean and Middle East regions, as well as the European and African continents.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received on 8/11/2020, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the French Republic Jean-Yves Le Drian, and the meeting dealt with issues of joint cooperation within the framework of strategic bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, as well as a review of ways to strengthen efforts to confront the escalation of extremism and hatred in light of the recent tension between the Islamic world And Europe.
The meeting also witnessed discussions about the latest developments in the Libyan issue, where the President reviewed Egypt's firm strategic stance towards Libya.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received 9/11/2020 Head of British Intelligence Richard Moore. During the meeting, the President emphasized the importance Egypt attaches to strengthening cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especially at the security and intelligence levels. The meeting witnessed discussions on ways to enhance security and intelligence cooperation between the two countries regarding various related issues, as the President stressed the inevitability of coming together to address the spreading scourge of terrorism, through a comprehensive approach that includes isolating extremist ideological thought.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received on 11/14/2020, the former President of the Republic of Namibia Sam Nujoma, and the meeting witnessed an exchange of views and visions on a number of African regional issues, especially the Renaissance Dam file, where the former President of Namibia affirmed his country's support for Egypt's efforts through negotiations to resolve this issue is in a way that achieves the interests of the three countries, and for his part, the President stressed the constants of the Egyptian stance seeking to reach a binding legal agreement that preserves Egypt's water rights and also meets the aspirations of other countries in development.
President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi received on 14/11/2020, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Zambia, Joseph Malangi and President El-Sisi stressed the importance that Egypt attaches to strengthening the relations that bind it to its sister Zambia in various fields, especially trade and investment, whether at the bilateral level or within the framework of the Common market of eastern and southern Africa "COMESA".
He pointed to Egypt's keenness to maximize coordination and consultation with the Zambian side, and President Longo personally, regarding ways to enhance joint African action mechanisms, in a way that would contribute to achieving the growth and stability that African countries aspire to..
President Abdel Fattah El-Sissi received, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Iraq, Lieutenant General Jumaa Inad Saadoun on 11/26/2020. The meeting dealt with discussions on bilateral military cooperation between Egypt and Iraq, including joint exercises, exchange of experiences, training programs and capacity building, as well as reviewing a number of Arab and regional issues and files of common interest.
President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi received, on November 26, 2020, the Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Sabah,who conveyed to the President a message from his brother, His Highness Emir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, , which included affirming the cherishment of the Kuwaiti government and people for the historical bonds and close relations in various fields between them.
The President affirmed Egypt's keenness to develop close and distinguished cooperation between the two countries at various levels. The meeting witnessed discussions on various aspects of bilateral relations, as well as consultations on developments in the regional arena.
Foreign visits of the President of the Republic
Visit of the President of the Republic to Athens
President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi went on 10/11/2020 to the capital, Athens, to start an official visit to the Republic of Greece.
The visit comes within the framework of the two friendly countries ’keenness on continuous consultations at the bilateral level, in addition to the tripartite level with Cyprus.
President El-Sisi met 11/11/2020 with Greek President Katrina Sakellaropoulou, and during the meeting the President praised the sound and extended Egyptian-Greek friendship, expressing Egypt's aspiration to deepen and strengthen them, and the meeting dealt with a number of regional issues of common interest, especially combating illegal immigration and terrorism and achieving coexistence between religions and support for peaceful solutions to the existing crises in the region. Views were also exchanged regarding combating terrorism and extremist ideology, as the President reviewed Egypt's efforts in this framework over the past years, and it was agreed to intensify the exchange of experiences and information between the two sides to face the challenges posed by this cross-border phenomenon.

Visit of the President of the Republic to South Sudan
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi went on 28/11/2020 to Juba to hold a summit meeting with the President of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir.
President El-Sisi held a session of bilateral talks with the President of South Sudan, followed by a session of extended discussions in the presence of the delegations of the two countries. During the meeting, the President expressed his happiness to visit South Sudan for the first time, stressing Egypt's keenness to transfer Egyptian expertise and provide technical support and capacity building programs for cadres in South Sudan in various sectors as well as advancing bilateral cooperation.
The President also clarified Egypt's full and unlimited support for the efforts of the Government of South Sudan to achieve peace and stability in the country as an extension of the Egyptian national security.The most important issues on the scene were discussed.
Withinn the framework of his visit to Juba, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with First Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan Riek Machar, and the meeting dealt with a review of the development of bilateral relations, as well as an exchange of views on Egypt's support for the efforts made to implement the merits of the terms of the peace agreement In South Sudan, seeking to achieve stability, development and prosperity for its brotherly people.
Telephone calls of the President of the Republic
The President received a phone call from President of the European Council Charles Michel,on 1/11/2020, and discussed joint cooperation between Egypt and the European Union to confront extremist ideology and achieve civilizational coexistence between religions.
The President affirmed that Egypt, through its ancient religious institutions and at the forefront of which is Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, will spare no effort to continue carrying out its role in cooperation with the European Union and its member states, and with all countries of the world to work to spread the values of moderation, tolerance, peaceful coexistence and rejection of extremism.
President El-Sisi received a phone call on 2/11/2020 via video conference technology from German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and the contact dealt with a number of issues related to the strategic bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as discussions about ways to confront extremist ideology and combat terrorism as well as developments in the current position of the Renaissance Dam file, and discussions about the latest developments in the Libyan issue, as the President reviewed Egypt's firm strategic stance towards the Libyan issue.
President El-Sisi received a phone call from President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron, on 2/11/2020. The call dealt with a number of bilateral and regional issues of common interest, especially the joint efforts towards settling the Libyan issue within the stated lines and fixing the ceasefire. The contact also touched on the common positions of the two countries vis-à-vis confronting terrorism and extremism and its supporters, and ways to eliminate it.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from the Prime Minister of Italy, Giuseppe Conte on 11/2020/2020, and discussed some issues of bilateral relations, especially the military and economic, as well as exchanging views on a number of regional files of common concern, foremost of which are developments in the situation in the eastern Mediterranean, and developments in the Libyan cause.
