Friday، 15 January 2021 - 05:27 PM

Egypt’s ambassador in Juba Mohamed Qadah discussed with South Sudanese Central Bank Governor Dier Tong Ngor means of reinforcing economic cooperation.
Qadah and Ngor probed proposals for cooperation between the Egyptian and South Sudanese central banks, including monetary policies, international payments, banking businesses, training, and other fields.
It also discussed enhancing the potentials of investments, and trade exchange between the two African countries.
The meeting comes ahead of Ngor’s planned visit to Cairo, at an invitation from his Egyptian counterpart Tareq Amer.
The move comes as part of the agreement reached by Egypt and South Sudan, after the visit of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Juba last November, which aimed at boosting bilateral ties in all the economic and development domains.
