Sisi urges Egyptian companies to invest in national mega projects
Saturday، 23 January 2021 - 11:28 PM

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has urged Egyptian companies to invest in major national projects to supply them with the necessary components instead of resorting to imports.
Sisi was speaking at the opening ceremony of several national projects, including El Fayrouz fish farming project in East of El Tafreah in Port Said on Saturday.
He said the water pipeline, which will carry treated water from Bahr al-Baqar wastewater treatment plant to Sinai, will cover 100,000 feddans eastward and 270,000 feddans in the central Sinai region, extending over more than 100 kilometers.
Sisi called upon Egyptian pump manufactures to make their production available to satisfy national projects' needs in this regard.
Sisi said that about 4,500 villages are in need of wastewater treatment facilities, which requires the provision of 10,000 pumps, opening up investment opportunities for national pumper makers.
