PM reviews implementation progress of Decent Life projects

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has chaired a meeting to follow up the implementation plan of sewage projects under the presidential initiative “Decent Life”.

The meeting, held on Monday in the presence of Housing Minister Asem El Gazar, Mamdoh Raslan, Chairman of the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater (HCWW), and a host of key respective officials, comes in coordination with all authorities concerned within the framework of sustainable development targeting the Egyptian countryside.

The meeting touched upon a plan to carry out such projects in 51 districts as a part of the State’s efforts to develop villages nationwide under this presidential initiative.

The premier directed to mobilize all efforts of construction companies to be fully ready for accomplishing this huge national project with the provision of all required equipment and machines.

Madbouli also directed to name directors in each district to carry out the first phase of this major national project efficiently.

Al Gazar said this phase aims to develop villages through implementing different infrastructure and services projects, noting that the first phase covers 24 districts, which include 703 villages and 3,792 areas.
