Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa and Head of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation (SCMR) Karam Gabr opened on Friday a seminar titled "Religious Media and Contemporary Challenges" in Sharm el-Sheikh city in South Sinai governorate.

Governor of South Sinai Khaled Fouda also attended the opening session that took place after Friday prayers, which was held at El Salam Mosque.

Gomaa said the meeting is one of the activities of the awareness-raising strategy for 2021 that was developed by the Awqaf Ministry and the SCRM.
