Awards for 1st Egyptian-French startup competition distributed

Minister of Communication and InformationTechnology Amr Talaat and the French ambassador in Cairo, Stéphane Romatet, attended on Tuesday16/2/2021 the award distribution ceremony of the first edition of the Egyptian-French startup competition.
On this occasion, the communication minister lauded Egyptian-French ties in all fields.
For his part, amb. Romatet stressed the importance of this competition that was launched in November 2019 within the framework of supporting entrepreneurship in Egypt in particular and the economy in general.
Central Bank of Egypt Governor Tareq Amer, the communication minister and the French ambassador in Cairo officially launched the Egyptian-French competition for startups in its first version in November 2019, in the presence of more than 300 companies.
The competition also falls within the framework of Egyptian-French cooperation in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship after the signing of the Declaration of Intent during French President Emmanuel Macron's visit to Cairo.
