The Egyptian and Spanish naval forces have carried out joint maritime training in the Red Sea.
The Egyptian Sharm el Sheikh and the Spanish ESPS Reina Sofia navy frigates took part in the exercise.
The exercise covered various professional activities, including monitoring suspicious shipping activity and maintaining maritime security procedures.
It also included performing naval formation exercises and carrying out night signal transportation exercises, which revealed the capability of the joint naval forces to efficiently and rabidly perform their tasks.
The naval training comes as part of the General Command of the Armed Forces' plan to raise the combat readiness of the naval forces and exchange military expertise with the armed forces of brotherly and friendly countries.
