Arab Parliament (AP) Speaker Adel el Assoumi lauded the inking of a cooperation protocol between the parliament and the Egyptian House of Representatives.

Assoumi asserted that the protocol highlights the role and responsibilities of both sides in coordinating and unifying the Arab stances at regional and international parliaments in addition to developing self abilities of the parliaments.

In a statement on Thursday, Assoumi lauded the strenuous efforts of the Egyptian parliament under Speaker Hanafi el Gebali.

He also lauded Egypt’s support under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to the Arab Parliament, asserting the importance of coordinating stances and unifying diplomatic and parliamentary Arab efforts towards the Arab important and strategic issues in all the international and regional gatherings for the interest of the Egyptians in particular and the Arab world in general.
