Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi on Monday approved disbursing EGP 42 million as a financial support to all sports clubs across the country.

In statements, Sobhi said the financial support comes as part of the ministry's keenness to maintain the financial and administrative stability of all sports entities with the aim of intensifying their activities in the coming phase.

The minister instructed all bodies concerned in the ministry to follow up on the conditions of sports and youth centers to assess their problems and work on settling them, pointing out that such backing helps these entities to compensate the setback in their revenues due to the coronavirus pandemic.
