PM: Medical city opening to achieve boom in health sector

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly said on Thursday April 1,2021 the inauguration of the Egyptian medical city will achieve a remarkable boom in the health sector that will be felt by Egyptian citizens.
Madbouly gave the remarks while delivering a speech on the inauguration by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi of "GYPTO Pharma" in Khanka area in Qaliobiya governorate.
Madbouly said the city is a giant edifice and the project is part of an integrated vision of the Egyptian state on paying due attention to the health sector.
The project aims at offering the best medical services to citizens through a multi-facet system, started by Sisi four years by launching several initiatives, the prime minister added.
Madbouly pointed out to the comprehensive health insurance project, which was launched by Sisi and achievements made in the first five governorates as part of phase one of the project.
As for health initiatives in Egypt's countryside, Madbouly said "Decent Life" initiative will provide a vast development of health units, medical centers and hospitals in the countryside to offer quality services to more than 58 million citizens.
Madbouly said "Medical city will be the other face of the health system.
