Gov't denies assigning people to collect citizens data to ensure receiving Covid-19 vaccine
Friday، 21 January 2022 - 02:12 PM

The Cabinet media center denied reports circulated purporting that a group of people claimed working for the Ministry of Health called on citizens to register their data over phone to make sure they have received the coronavirus vaccine.
In a statement on Friday, the center said it has contacted the Ministry of Health over the matter and the ministry categorically denied the reports, asserting that it did not assign anybody to contact citizens for this purpose.
The ministry added that it has a data base containing all information about citizens who have registered for the vaccines, according to the statement.
All legal procedures will be taken against those people, it said.
The center urged media outlets and social media users to verify the authenticity of any news before publishing them to avoid stirring public opinion, added the statement.
