Awqaf minister arrives in Kafr el-Sheikh governorate for opening 6 mosques

Kafr el-Sheikh Governor Gamal Nour el-Din received here on Friday Minister of Awqaf Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, along with his accompanying delegation, to reopen a two-storey mosque on an area of 1,595.6 square meters at a total cost of EGP 8 million.
Initially established in 1949, the mosque was modernized and renovated ahead of opening, the Ministry of Awqaf said in a statement.
It added that five other mosques will also be inaugurated in the governorate earlier in the day. MENA
