Military production state minister heads to Saudi Arabia to attend World Defense Show

Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsi leaves for Saudi Arabia on Saturday 05/03/2022 to attend the first edition of the World Defense Show.
The event will kick off on Sunday in Riyadh city, under the sponsorship of Saudi King Salman bin Abdel Aziz Al Saud and run until March 9.
Morsi is set to meet with a number of military leaders from around the world and heads of companies participating in the exhibition.
Morsi will also attend several seminars that are organized as part of the exhibition's activities on developing defense systems and industries.
He is also expected to tour some pavilions in the exhibition.
The ministry’s participation in the exhibition constitutes a key opportunity to stand on the latest developments in the field of defense industries and discuss the possibility of transferring advanced technologies to the military production companies to develop armament systems.
Official Spokesman for the Ministry Mohamed Eid Bakr said the ministry will have a pavilion in the exhibition to display a number of its products.
