Sisi orders law enforcement bodies to keep purging N. Sinai of Takfiri groups

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi instructed Sunday law enforcement bodies to continue purging some North Sinai regions of terrorist and Takfiri groups.
Presiding over a meeting of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces earlier today, to discuss the consequences of yesterday's terrorist attack in western Sinai, which targeted members of the Egyptian military, Sisi lauded the army's efforts to dry up the resources of terrorist groups and root out terrorism from the peninsula.
Sisi also followed up on efforts under way to hunt down fugitive terrorists in the peninsula in cooperation with the brave people of Sinai.
Sisi also commended the Armed Forces' contributions to mega national development projects in cooperation with all relevant state bodies.
The meeting also tackled a raft of issues related to the Armed Forces' missions and activities to safeguard national security across the State.(MENA)
