Acting Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar stressed the importance of cooperation with the German side in the health sector.

Abdel Ghaffar's remarks came during his meeting with
Managing Board Member and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Siemens Healthineers Bernd Montag along with Siemens Healthineers' CEO for the Middle East and Southern and Eastern Africa Ole Maloy and their accompanying delegations.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 75th World Health Assembly in Geneva.

The minister, meanwhile, extended thanks to the German Siemens company and its continued support to the health sector in Egypt.

The meeting also tackled ways of boosting cooperation in mechanization sphere and maintenance of medical devices at all the centers, units and hospitals affiliated with the ministry, said Health Ministry Spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar.
