Antiquities Minister Khaled Anani decided Thursday dispatching 15 antiquities restorers and museums' curators to take part in intensive training program on museology field in Italy.
The move comes as part of the Antiquities Ministry's keenness on honing the skills of the human resources, which could enhance their experiences in the museology and archaeology.
The training program is expected to serve the ministry's plans to restore and develop the Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo, Gayer-Anderson Museum, The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, and Muhammad Ali Palace, in cooperation with UNESCO, head of the Supreme Council of Antiquities' museums department Mo'men Othman said.
