The US dollar exchange rate was stable at the beginning of Tuesday's transactions at Egypt's major banks.

At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, the dollar rate registered EGP 18.67 for buying and EGP 18.73 for selling.

At the Commercial International Bank (CIB), the dollar exchange rate recorded EGP 18.69 for buying and EGP 18.75 for selling.

As for main currencies' exchange rates, world capital markets and banks are being affected on the back of repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.

The euro price registered EGP 19.41 for buying and EGP 19.72 for selling at Banque Misr and the NBE.

At the CIB, the euro exchange rate recorded EGP 19.54 for selling and 19.72 for buying.

The pound sterling at the NBE and Banque Misr registered EGP 22.63 for buying and EGP 22.86 for selling.

At the CIB, the pound sterling exchange rate amounted to EGP 22.72 for buying and EGP 22.85 for selling.

The Saudi riyal price stood at EGP 4.97 for buying and EGP 4.99 for selling at Banque Misr and the NBE.
