Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation El Sayed El Quseir discussed with Ivory Coast's Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani means of boosting bilateral cooperation in the agriculture domain.

In a statement on Friday, the Agriculture Ministry said that a session of talks was held between the two ministers in this regard, with high-level delegations from both sides attending.

The talks fall within the framework of what has been agreed upon on the sidelines of the 15th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (COP15) that was held from May 9 to 20 in Abidjan.

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi gave directives to provide all means of support and exert utmost efforts to transfer Egypt's technical expertise and hands-on experience, particularly in the agricultural sector, to African countries, Quseir said.
