Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli stressed that work is going on in Egypt’s mega project of Decent Life, which targets developing and upgrading the standards of living of around 60 million people in the rural areas.

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has instructed not to suspend work on these projects despite the current challenges triggered by the global crisis, Madbouli said during his inspection tour of some Decent Life initiative’s projects in Tanta, along with Supply Minister Ali el Meselhi, Local Development Minister Mahmoud Shaarawi, Housing Minister Asem el Gazzar, and Gharbia governor Tarek Rahmi.

Field inspections and follow-up of these projects are underway, the premier stressed.

The Gharbia governor briefed the prime minister on the latest developments in up to 1000 projects, being implemented in the governorate’s villages and rural areas, aimed at serving more than 500 thousand residents living there.
