Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala el Saeed on Saturday 25/06/2022 called on young innovators to focus on green innovations that consider emissions reduction and the sustainability of natural resources.

Addressing the third annual forum for startups, Saeed said the main concern of every government official is the ability to create decent jobs for citizens.

Egypt has a large youth population which represents a demographic advantage that the government always need to invest in, she added.

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development cooperates with state agencies, the private sector and civil society to create an enabling environment for start-ups, ideas and innovations, Saeed said.
