President Sisi's trip to Bahrain reflects the depth of bilateral relations

Bahraini Ambassador in Cairo and Permanent Delegate to the Arab League Hisham bin Mohammed Al-Jowder said that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's visit to Bahrain on Tuesday is a clear reflection of the special historical relations and firm cordial brotherly bonds between the Egyptian and Bahraini leaderships and peoples.

The trip falls within the context of regular official visits and exchanged contacts at the highest levels between the two countries under the guidance of President Sisi and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, he said, commending the congruity of views shared by both sides toward regional and international issues of mutual concern and their joint keenness on protecting Arab national security and countering all attempts to interfere in Arab countries' internal affairs.

He asserted the keenness of the Bahraini kingdom on fostering its partnership and cooperation with Egypt in all domains and at all levels.

Also, he reiterated Bahrain's constant support to Egypt and backing to all efforts aiming at safeguarding its security and stability and pushing forward its economic reforms.

He expressed strong appreciation of Egypt's honorable stands in support of the safety, security and stability of the Arabian Gulf, describing Egypt as a cornerstone of regional stability.

Earlier today the Bahraini Royal Court issued a statement welcoming the visit by President Sisi and his accompanying delegation to Bahrain tomorrow.

During the visit, the Bahraini king will hold talks with the Egyptian leader on the distinguished long-standing relations between the two sisterly countries, in addition to the latest regional, Arab and global developments, according to the statement.
