Chief of Staff of Egypt's Armed Forces Lieutenant General Osama Askar attended on Monday the "Eisar 64" exercise conducted by formations from the Third Field Army.

The few days' drill is part of the annual combat training program of the Armed Forces.

The exercise started by preparations for a battle in cooperation with all units and formations, where the chief of staff made sure of the preparedness of the soldiers and their combat skills as well as their capability of using the most modern means of carrying out assigned tasks.

Askar conveyed the greetings of Defense and Military Production Minister General Mohamed Zaki to the Third Field Army personnel, hailing the high morale of the soldiers and their resolve to defend their homeland.
