Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar held meeting with Yemeni Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Khaled Al-Wasabi via video conference and stressed the strength of the historical relations between the two countries, which extend for many years, pointing out Egypt's constant welcome to provide support and assistance to the Yemeni brothers in all fields.

Abdel Ghaffar pointed to the specificity of the cooperation relations between the two countries in the fields of higher education, praising the excellence of Yemeni students in the Egyptian universities.

For his part, Dr. Al-Wasabi thanked the minister for his continuous cooperation in supporting joint scientific and research relations, pointing to his country’s pride in Egypt’s historical support to Yemen in various political, educational and research fields, which had the greatest impact in graduating many Yemeni cadres, many of whom occupy leadership positions.
