Egypt presents its experiment to increase populated areas in new urban communities

Advisor of the Housing Minister for technical affairs Marwa Sebawieh presented the experiment of the Egyptian government to increase the populated areas in the new urban communities.

This came during the 11th World Urban Forum held in Poland.

A session was held on Saturday 02/07/2022 under the rubric “facing the demographic imbalance via urban and sustainable economic incentives” in the presence of Assistant Housing Minister Abdel Khaleq Ibrahim, said a statement of the Ministry of Housing.

The session was held in cooperation with the World Bank, the German aid agency and the Saudi Ministry of Housing and Planning.

During the session, Sebawieh reviewed the Egyptian experiment in facing the urban, economic, social and environmental challenges.

The participation of the Ministry of Housing in this event aims at presenting the Egyptian efforts to face the urban challenges in the different urban societies in light of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to provide decent life for the Egyptians.
