President Abdel Fattah El Sisi gave directives on Sunday to start the experimental operation of
Safaa Hegazi metro station on the third line.

The Zamalek metro station was re-named the Safaa Hegazy metro station in tribute to renowned TV presenter who died in 2017.

Earlier in the day, Sisi inaugurated Adly Mansour Interchange Station, the biggest exchange station in the Middle East.

Sisi also opened an electric train project on Al-Salam/10th of Ramadan /Administrative Capital.

The President was accompanied by Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki and a number of ministers and statesmen.
