Cabinet's media center reviews govt weekly decisions

The Cabinet's Media Center on Friday published a report reviewing the government's decisions from July 2 to 8.
The government's weekly decisions included a resolution to establish six new technological universities as part the Law no. 72 of 2019.
The cabinet approved a draft resolution to transfer the ownership of a plot of land in Cairo from the Egyptian Contracting Company "Mokhtar Ibrahim" affiliated to the Holding Company for Construction and Development (HCCD), to the Banque du Caire, for settling the debt owed to the bank.
The cabinet gave approval to allocating a plot of land in Marsa Matrouh city to the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) to build power transformers.
The cabinet agreed that the State would pay tax on buildings affiliated to some industrial sectors for three years. This measure applies to micro and small-sized enterprises and strategic industries of national projects.
The cabinet approved the recommendations to settle 49 disputes between government bodies.
The cabinet also announced that low-cost Air Sphinx, a subsidiary of EgyptAir, would start operation from Egyptian airports under the winter schedule for 2022/2023. Air Sphinx will run flights from the airports of Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, Luxor, Sphinx and Cairo, with the aim of stimulating the incoming tourism to Egypt.
