The US dollar exchange rate was stable at the beginning of Wednesday's transactions at Egypt's major banks.

At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, the dollar rate recorded EGP 19.12 for buying and EGP 19.18 for selling.

At the Commercial International Bank (CIB), the dollar rate recorded EGP 19.14 for buying and EGP 19.20 for selling.

At the Egyptian Gulf Bank (EG Bank), the dollar rate recorded EGP 19.17 for buying and EGP 19.20 for selling.

The euro price registered EGP 18.99 for buying and EGP 19.12 for selling at Banque Misr and the NBE.

At the CIB, the euro price registered EGP 19.01 for buying and EGP 19.14 for selling.

The pound sterling at the NBE and Banque Misr registered EGP 22.58 for buying and EGP 22.73 for selling.

At the CIB, the pound sterling registered EGP 22.50 for buying and EGP 22.60 for selling.

According to the CBE, the average exchange rate for the pound sterling at the Egyptian market was EGP 22.50 for buying and EGP 22.60 for selling.

The Saudi riyal price stood at EGP 5.08 for buying and EGP 5.10 for selling at the NBE.
