President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Monday directed to accelerate executive steps to establish strategic pharmaceuticals warehouses nationwide to have a strategic stock of pharmaceuticals to meet local needs in the future in line with international standards.

Sisi's directives came during his meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Planning Minister Hala El Said, Presidential Adviser for Health Affairs Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, Chairman of the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement Bahaa El Din Zeidan, Chairman of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority Hesham Swefi, and CEO of the Sovereign Fund of Egypt Ayman Soleiman, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.

The president followed up on the developments of establishing a strategic pharmaceuticals stores system.
