Sisi meets with Iraqi PM in Riyadh

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met on Thursday 8/12/2022 with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani in Riyadh, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.
President Sisi renewed congratulations to the Iraqi premier on gaining the parliament’s confidence for forming the new government, wishing him success in his duties.
The Egyptian leader emphasized his great appreciation for Iraq’s government and people as well as for the close fraternal relations between Cairo and Baghdad.
He also stressed Egypt’s keenness to propel frameworks of cooperation with the Arab Gulf country.
Sisi pointed out to Egypt’s entrenched principles as regards supporting Iraq, maximizing its Arab role, and providing full support for the Iraqi people at all levels.
