Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry had a phone call on Saturday 17/12/2022 with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.

The talks tackled bilateral ties, including the progress of Russian economic projects in Egypt, Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said.

The two sides also tackled a number of regional and international developments.

Shoukry reviewed Egypt's stand vis-a-vis various developments in the Middle East as well as the outcome of Egypt's communications for promoting regional peace and stability.
