Egypt, India call for upgrading ties to strategic partnership, says statement

Egypt and India have issued a joint statement on the occasion of the current state visit paid by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to the Asian country.
Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said the statement stressed the importance of upgrading Egyptian-Indian ties to the level of strategic partnership to include the political, security, defense and economic fields.
