Trade min. participates in AfCFTA forum in Ghana

Trade and Industry Minister Ahmed Samir is expected to participate in the "African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA): reaching prosperity through continental free trade" forum.
In a press release, the ministry said that the forum is organized by Ghana in cooperation with the African Continental Free Trade Area agreement and Africa Prosperity Network.
Head of the Egyptian Commercial Services Yehia el Wathik, Ambassador to Ghana Ayman el Desouky and Head of the Egyptian trade bureau in Ghana Ahmed Tarek will also attend the forum.
The minister said that the forum aims at gathering African leaders to discuss opportunities provided by the AfCFTA to reach African Union’s 2063 agenda.
