Egypt beat Hungary; finish 7th in World Handball Championship

Egypt beat Hungary 36-35 Sunday to finish seventh in the 2023 World Handball Championship.
Egypt's Ahmed Hesham El Sayyed (Dodo) was named man of the match.
The national team equalled the seventh-placed finish they gained on home soil at Egypt 2021.
The 2023 IHF World Men's Handball Championship is the 28th such event hosted by the International Handball Federation. It was held in Poland and Sweden from 11 to 29 January 2023.
