Sisi, PM discuss plan to relocate govt to New Administrative Capital

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has directed the government to ensure that its relocation to the New Administrative Capital would be a real development of the country's administrative apparatus in a comprehensive and qualitative manner; not only through modernizing buildings and facilities, but also via qualifying staffers and training government cadres on modern methods of management.
This shall contribute to establishing an efficient, effective administration apparatus, achieving transition to smart government, in addition to the start of a new era of providing distinguished and digitized services to citizens.
Sisi made the remarks during his meeting on Thursday 23/3/2023 with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and all ministers in the New Administrative Capital.
The meeting touched on the government's plan to relocate ministries as well as various state bodies and institutions to the New Administrative Capital, Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmi said.
The president was briefed on the progress made in implementing the first phase of the Decent Life Presidential Initiative to develop the Egyptian countryside, in addition to kickstarting its second phase.
