Irrigation Minister Hany Sweilam  lead Egypt’s high-level delegation to the UN Midterm Review Conference of the Water Decade that is taking place in New York on March 22-24, coinciding with the celebration of World Water Day World Water Day, which falls on March 22 of each year.

The minister is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with a number of ministers and senior officials, as well as representatives of regional and international organizations on the sidelines of the conference.

The conference is set to address a plan of action on coping with the water sector, which was launched by Egypt during COP27.
