President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Saturday 01/04/2023 honored a number of heroes of the Armed Forces for their role in missions to eradicate terrorists in Sinai.

The list of honorees included Lieutenant Colonel Mahmoud Yaqoub Mohamed Abdel Shaheed, Captain Moataz Wagdy Mostafa Mohamed of Battalion 118 General Reconnaissance Division 18 Mechanic of the Second Field Army, Sergeant Mahmoud Mohamed Qulaib Mahdi of the Parachute School Command Thunderbolt Forces, and Sergeant Hassan Mohamed Mohamed Hassan of the Special Action Group Thunderbolt Command.

Sisi also honored Soldier Mostafa Salah Imam of the 537th Mechanized Battalion, 136th Mechanic Brigade, 18th Division, and Soldier Asaad Adel Hassan Abdullah of 351st Battalion, Infantry Brigade, 116th Mechanic Brigade.

During the event, Sinai tribal elders presented a souvenir to President Sisi on the occasion of the anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan victory.
