President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met, 4-4-2023, with the President of the African Development Bank Group, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, and his accompanying delegation, which included Vice President of the Bank Kevin Urama and Secretary General of the Bank Vincent Nmehielle. From the Egyptian side, Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt Mr. Hassan Abdallah, Deputy Governor for Monetary Stability Mr. Rami Aboul Naja, and Deputy Governor for External Affairs Ms. Mannullah Farid attended the meeting.

President El-Sisi welcomed the development of cooperation between Egypt and the African Development Bank, and expressed appreciation for the Bank's role in supporting the development sectors in Africa, particularly in light of the growing economic challenges at the international level. The President also affirmed that Egypt looked forward to continuing and increasing cooperation with the Bank in the coming period in various areas, within the framework of the common strategic goals between the two sides.
