Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi reviewed Saturday 08/04/2023 new youth and sport investment opportunities during a meeting with senior officials from the ministry.

Sobhi initiated the meeting, held at the General Authority of Cairo International Stadium, by emphasizing the need to regularly follow up youth and sport construction projects nationwide.

Aside from their importance for improving youth and sport services, these projects also contribute to alleviating the burden on the State, to enable it to focus on development projects in other sectors, the minister said, highlighting the positive role played by the private sector and NGOs in these projects.

Sobhi also pointed to ministry's manifold achievements recently, including the ministry's efforts to encourage people to participate in sport and physical activities, in addition its construction projects as well as investment offers that serve the goals of Egypt sustainable development vision for 2030.

He underscored the need to complete a set of mechanisms aimed at luring private investments for improving the country's sport infrastructure, and supporting player sponsorship programs and activities, by bolstering partnerships with private stakeholders.
