The Engineering Export Council of Egypt (EECE) launched Saturday 27/05/2023 a project under the rubric "Way to Kenya" that is aiming to scale up Egyptian engineering exports to the Kenyan market in this vital sector.

The Council said in a statement that a number of meetings will be held with the most important importers in Kenya to help them learn more about the advantages of the Egyptian products and their competition edge with other products.

Given the Kenyan market is included in COMESA exemptions and thus granting a comparative advantage to the Egyptian products, according to it.

"The Kenyan market is the most important market to Egyptian engineering industries," the Council added in the statement.
