Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema thanked Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for the efforts exerted by Egypt during its presidency of the 21st Summit of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA).

He made the remarks on Thursday during the launch of the 22nd COMESA Summit which is attended by President Sisi.

The Zambian president stressed his country's keenness on promoting cooperation via giving momentum to trade and investment in Africa and enhancing peace and stability across the continent.
