The cabinet media center denied reports claiming that some artifacts of an Egyptian museum were sent to a hospital abroad for scanning.

In a statement on Saturday 10/06/2023, the center said it communicated with the Ministry of Antiquities and Tourism which dismissed the claims as baseless.

The ministry called on citizens to avoid circulating fake information.

The center called on social media users to verify the authenticity of any circulated news reports before sharing them to avoid perplexing public opinion.
