Madbouly meets S. Korean Ambassador

Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly met, Sunday, in the New Administrative Capital, Ambassador Kim Yong-Hyun, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Egypt.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister welcomed the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, expressing his appreciation for the close relations between the two countries, and his aspiration to support cooperation between the two sides in all fields.

During the meeting, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly expressed his aspiration to visit the Republic of South Korea to participate in the “Korea-Africa” summit next June 4, on behalf of president Sisi.

For his part, Ambassador Kim Yong-Hyun stressed the importance of the Prime Minister's participation in the summit in light of the high-level participation of many African countries, noting that the Prime Minister's visit and participation in the summit will contribute to supporting relations between Korea and Africa, as well as bilateral relations between the two countries.

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly affirmed his aspiration for continued cooperation between the two sides in all fields.

On the other hand, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea praised the economic reforms implemented by the Egyptian government, stressing at the same time that Egypt is a strategic partner for his country in the African continent.

The Korean Ambassador said that his country looks forward to taking advantage of the Prime Minister's visit to discuss supporting cooperation between the two sides, and considering signing a number of agreements that contribute to advancing relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Kim Yong-Hyun indicated that the Korea-Africa summit will contribute to increasing interaction between the two sides at the private sector level in order to support opportunities for joint cooperation through many side events.
