Interior Ministry: Six MB cells that target power stations arrested

Six terrorist cells affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group and target power stations have been arrested, said Interior Ministry Spokesman Major General Hani Abdel-Latif.
Investigations showed that MB members formed cells which aim to carry out violent and sabotage acts, storm private and public establishments and target power stations in the governorates of Giza, Menoufiya, Gharbiya, Kafr el-Sheikh, Sharqiya and Alexandria, added the spokesman.
The spokesman further said that MB members took shelter in a number of hired places to hide equipment used in carrying out several terror acts.
Abdel-Latif also said that the arrested include employees with the Electricity Ministry.
The arrested confessed about their terror plan which includes blasting power stations, targeting policemen and army officers, Abdel-Latif further added.
