Spokesman: Joint Egyptian-Ethiopian committee materializes Sisi-Desalegn agreement in Malabo

Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ambassador Badr Abdel Atty said the 5th session of the joint Egyptian-Ethiopian Committee will materialize the agreement between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn on promoting bilateral relations during Malabo African summit.
In press statements on Sunday 2/11/2014, Abdel Atty said that Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will hold talks later in the day with his Ethiopian counterpart Tedros Adhanom in Ethiopia as part of preparations for the joint ministerial meeting, due to convene on Monday.
The spokesman said the meeting will tackle the outcome of the technical committee on the renaissance dam, the situation in the Horn of Africa, the Sudanese conflict as well as other issues related to security and stability in the region.
