On Friday 22, 2015, King Abdullah II of Jordan opened the main session of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa themed "Creating a Regional Framework for Prosperity and Peace through Public-Private Cooperation".

During his speech, the Jordanian Monarch especially welcomed the participation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in the event.

King Abdullah II of Jordan also welcomed the participation of a large number of world leaders and economists in the forum.
